Una colaboración única entre Andrew Martin y la premiada diseñadora de interiores Kit Kemp.
Inspirada en los cuentos del folclore tradicional, esta
colección une la imaginación infantil con la magia del diseño. Compuesta por
seis telas y cinco papeles pintados que representan paisajes míticos en tonos
oscuros acentuados con explosiones de naranja brillante, azul, amarillo o
verde. Con un ojo puesto en el pasado y otro en el futuro, la colección se
reencuentra en un harmonioso contraste, forjando un diseño fresco y
sorprendente que nos cuenta su propia historia.

El arte nativo americano inspiró los estampados Great Plains
y Apache, mientras que Mythical Land, un monumental mural de tres metros que
muestra un paisaje campestre protagonizado por perales, se inspira en el arte
popular americano. La valiente subversión a la tradición es un valor que Martin
y Kemp comparten. Los motivos antiguos y telas como sarga, lino o cretona se
ven descaradamente modernizados con colores vibrantes y espacios que dejan que
estas magníficas narraciones se desarrollen. La colección ha sido diseñada para
incentivar el contraste y la mezcla, para crear espacios que se conviertan en
historias.

| Friendly Folk |
Telas como Friendly Folk, inspirada en tapices de los siglos XV y XVI nos muestran criaturas de colas tupidas escondidas entre setos, árboles en flor y colinas inglesas. Con un rico sentido del folclore y la lírica del mundo rural, este diseño tradicional se vuelve contemporáneo con vibrantes tonos naranjas, verdes, mostazas, rojos y azules y relajados grises y neutros.

| Pshyco Spring |
En Pshyco Spring encontramos los rizos de las vides en vibrante amarillo, rosa y verde o turquesa, rosa y
rojo creando unas líneas ligeramente onduladas en esta tela en mezcla de lino. Un diseño que combina la fantasía psicodélica con delicados detalles
surrealistas, como una trama que fluye y nos transporta a lugares mágicos.

Mientras que Hedgerow Cerise es un mosaico que muestra las juguetonas caras de criaturas míticas que se
mueven entres árboles frutales, como un dragón rodeado de suculentas
ciruelas y un leopardo moteado bailando entre fresales.

Introducing a unique collaboration between Andrew Martin and award winning interior designer, Kit Kemp.
Inspired by the romance of folk tales, this collection encapsulates youthful imagination and the magic of design. It consists of six fabrics and five wallpapers depicting scenes of mythical lands in dusky colors accented with temporary bursts of bright orange, blue, yellow and green. With one eye in the past and one in the future, the collection founds itself on harmonious contrast, forging a scheme which is fresh with surprise and which tells a new and exciting story of its own.
Native American art provided inspiration for the Great Plains and Apache print, while Mythical Land, a monumental three metre repeat of pears and trees, takes its cue from American folk art. The fearless subversion of tradition is an ethos Martin and Kit share. These old-wordly motifs and fabrics such as twill, linen and chintz have been unashamedly modernized with vibrant colours and airier repeats to give these rich cultural stories space to sing. The collection is designed to encourage layering and contrast, to create a room with the unfolding twists and turns of a story.
Fabrics as Friendly Folk are inspired by 15th and 16th century tapestries. This design shows bushy tailed creatures peering amongst hedgerows, blooming trees and rolling English hills. With a rich sense of folklore and the lyricism of rural land, Friendly Folk is made contemporary with a vibrant orange motif.
In Psycho Spring curls of imaginative vines in vibrant yellow, pink and green create a loosely undulating stripe. This design combines psychedelic fantasy with delicate surrealist detail, like a flowing intrigue leading you to a magical land.
Traveller's Tales was inspired by American folk art, this motif will whisk you away to stories of old unleashing childlike enthusiasm for fairy tales. Walk through an imaginative land, from rolling hills carpeted with wild flowers to a tree growing giant orange pears and a whole dance of mythical creatures along the way.
Finally, Hedgerow Cerise is a patchwork style motif showing the playful faces of mythical creatures prancing between abundant fruit trees. Spot a dragon sprawling amongst succulent plums and a spotted leopard dancing with a strawberry bush.
